Take a musical journey through time with Ars Musica Chicago as we explore the art song from the early Baroque through late Classical eras. Experience the unparalleled beauty and unbridled emotion of works by Peri, Monteverdi, Strozzi, Purcell, Haydn, and others. Rising star soprano Hannah De Priest is joined by Michael Pecak on fortepiano; Ars Musica Chicago’s Artistic Director, Jason J. Moy, on harpsichord; and special guest Deborah Fox of Pegasus Early Music (Rochester, NY) on theorbo and baroque guitar.
